About

Hello
After a decade-long career in sustainability investing and social impact, I decided to change profession. I explored the mountains of Peru, the forests of Latvia, attended self-development programs and meditation retreats, until I heard the call to study psychology. However, soon after beginning a post-graduate diploma at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry,Psychology and Neuroscience I started experiencing headaches. Intermittent at first, they became permanent.
I was diagnosed with New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH), a challenging condition that is highly refractory to treatment. Shortly after the NDPH diagnosis, I was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), an abnormal immune response. I tried every possible treatment, from acupuncture to anti-depressants, from repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation to neurofeedback. None of them helped.

During this time I discovered homeopathy. Out of the myriad treatments I received, it was one of the only ones that made a difference. I am not here to tell you homeopathy is a miracle cure. It did not entirely solve my headaches from one day to the next. A combination of lifestyle changes, consistent psychotherapy, MCAS medication, and supplements helped me restore my health and I am still working on it. However, homeopathy very clearly cured some of my symptoms, making my life easier, and giving me hope. As a result of this experience, I decided to train as a homeopath at the Centre of Homeopathic Education, and am now eager to share this healing approach with you.

In addition to my training at CHE, I have completed a certificate in Therapeutic Skills and Studies at the Metanoia Institute, a post-graduate diploma in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London, and the foundation training in systemic family constellations with the Centre for Systemic Constellations in London. I am currently in my second year of a Diploma in integrative transpersonal psychotherapy at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London, as part of which I volunteer at the Caravan drop-in counselling service.
